Lab innovations 2024 has already hit the record numbers set by last year’s show, with 80% of last year’s 202 exhibitors booking stands again for this year. Many leading brands from the industry have been confirmed to exhibit, including Waters, Sartorius, Scientific Laboratory Supplies, Veolia Water Technologies, SciMed, Alpha Laboratories Limited, IKA, PerkinElmer, Integra Biosciences, Analytix and Bronkhorst UK.

Commenting during last year’s show, Simon Osborne, President of Analytix said, “The show has been good, we have met with some people who we didn’t know before, which is unusual for us at most events. We have also launched some new products while we are here as there is no better place to launch something for the lab industry than at Lab Innovations. We picked up the Best Stand prize this year too, which was a great way to round off the show. We have already booked to come back next year.”

Sustainability remains a key focus for the event, much like the previous year. Working with partners like GAMBICA, Laboratory News and the Royal Society of Chemistry, Lab Innovations has curated engaging talks paired with interactive experiences set to take place across the two days, with the aim to highlight the best sustainable solutions in science.

The Sustainable Lab, hosted by Andy Evans from Green Light Laboratories, is one of the biggest installations this year, showcasing sustainable products to visitors and exploring simple changes that can be made to improve the energy efficiency and reduce waste in labs.

This year, the show will feature a brand-new Quality Infrastructure Forum (QI forum) in addition to four free-to-attend programmes from leading industry professionals. The QI forum is hosted in partnership with the UK’s National Quality Infrastructure members including the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, the?National Physical Laboratory & the British Standards Institution and is set to provide insights into lab accreditation, quality, technical assessments, and the future of AI in labs.

Last year, visitors received insightful talks from world-renowned keynote speakers Dr Rosa Vasquez Espinoza and Maggie Philbin.

Following her talk at last year’s show, Dr Espinoza commented, “Lab Innovations has been fantastic. They are really committed to bringing speakers with different voices, cultures and backgrounds to help inspire people to take action, which is really important for sustainability research. Giving talks at events like this is really important as it helps connect people with parts of our planet that may seem really remote and understand how actions at home and in our companies might impact a forest thousands of miles away.”

This year’s show will once again co-locate with Advanced Engineering, which is endorsed by figure heads from leading industry names such as the UK Space Agency, JLR, GKN Global Technology Centre, Composites UK, Innovate UK and the Royal Institution Naval Architects. The collaboration will provide the perfect opportunity for visitors from both industries to network and expand on their ideas and knowledge.

Lab Innovations 2024 is set to beat 2023’s record numbers, with the show already set to be one of the most anticipated showcases of the lab industry this year. Space is selling out fast, so act now to secure your space by visiting www.lab-innovations.com/why-exhibit/exhibitor-enquiry
